Recruitment Co-ordinator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Recruitment Co-Ordinator for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£250/day (Inside IR35).
Responsibilities:
– Have day to day responsibility for facilitating contractor recruitment through to on boarding successful candidates
– Have day to day responsibility for facilitation staff recruitment from advertising roles to setting up interviews and on boarding successful candidates
– Undertaking various administrative tasks including SharePoint updates
– Assist in the production of various people related reports required for stakeholders
– Support managers and staff in people related matters to ensure a standard approach across the wider team.
– Working closely with other parts of the Governance Team to assess the demand and supply of resources and highlight potential constraints in capacity and capability
– Identify opportunities to improve working practices for the benefits of the Team or the organisation
– To be aware of and support compliance with relevant policies and procedures in particular those related to people matters to ensure consistent working practices are followed.
– To use your judgement to make risk-based decisions recognising when to act and when to escalate.
– To gather relevant and accurate information from managers and staff across the team, keep them informed and manage their expectations.
– To assist with the commitment to provide regular updates to all staff and contractors within the team
Essential Skills:
-Proven abilities enabling you to manage your time and prioritise a varied workload whilst being aware of how your work impacts on others.
-Evidence of communicating effectively, both written and oral, with colleagues at all levels and stakeholders to build positive relationships.
-Competent user of MS Office packages – Outlook, including calendars, Word and Excel.
-Eye for detail and understanding of need for precise and accurate work with an ability to interpret information and data
-Understands importance and responsibilities when dealing with sensitive information and demonstrates discretion.
-Experience of managing multiple email inboxes, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of emails. Co-ordinating responses as required, ensuring queries are dealt with and deadlines met.
Desirable Skills:
-Working knowledge of Sharepoint
-Working knowledge of Power BI
-Drafting user guidance and/or procedure documents for immediate team and users
-Experience of data analysis and reporting
-Awareness, ability, or experience of the tech environment (programming, development, Agile methodology, etc.)
