Recycling Operative x 2
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit 2 x Recycling Operative for rolling contracts on a rate of £14.50/hour (PAYE). The working pattern for these roles is – Week 1: Monday to Friday (10am to 5:30pm) and Week 2 – Tuesday to Saturday (10am to 5:30pm).
Responsibilities:
– Assist team to process waste generated onsite.
– Working within a recycling compound in a large industrial market area
– Processing and loading various waste streams (cardboard, wood and other recyclables) into skips or compactors
– Performing general cleaning duties within the compound
– Collecting and moving waste or rubbish from around the market
– Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
– Following all on-site health and safety procedures
Essential Skills:
– Punctual, dependable and committed to delivering quality work
– Comfortable with manual handling and physical activity
– A team player with strong communication skills
Desirable Skills:
– Previous experience preferred – not essential
