Resourcing Team Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Resourcing Team Administrator for a 1 year contract on a rate of £17.09/hour (PAYE).
Responsibilities
– Working closely with the Managers for appointment rounds. This includes the preparation, collation and issue of relevant papers, administration support to selection panels during the appointments process, in addition to managing timetables and communications channels, including the use of social media.
– Being the main point of contact for internal and external enquiries. This includes organising reasonable adjustments for applicants, preparing and issuing correspondence and managing requests for feedback from unsuccessful candidates.
– Liaising with sponsor teams about appointment activity including advertising, outreach and succession planning.
– Maintaining high administrative standards and exercising good judgement in handling personal, sensitive information and appointments data. Ensuring accurate record keeping and maintaining up to date statistics.
– Support the Head on aspects of the improvement programme, including input to guidance updates and assisting with the planning and delivery of events.
Essential Skills:
– Excellent administration and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and plan workload.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with confidence to engage with senior staff and public bodies.
– Ability to work as part of a team including the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
– Attention to detail and a concern for accuracy.
