Reward Lead
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Reward Lead for a 12 month contract with possible extension on a rate between £400-500/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid based.
Responsibilities:
– Further development and management of job evaluation activities.
– Leading the reward workstreams with ongoing business wide initiatives.
– Partner with counterparts on all reward based developments, maintaining alignment to pay ethos.
– Liaise with business leadership to ensure reward processes are an enabler of any potential business and service developments.
– Preparation and presentation of any papers related to pay strategy.
– Prepare business (financial) cases that may impact reward.
– Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that all pay related processes operate smoothly and accurately.
– Support resourcing activity through providing up to date market insights.
Essential Skills:
– Knowledge of job evaluation processes and application (direct experience of job evaluation within the civil service would be advantageous but not required).
– Experience of reward benchmarking and translating data to meaningful strategic recommendations.
– Proficiency in MS excel data analysis and visualisation.
– Skilled at engaging, building, and influencing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders up and across the organisation.
– Pro-active and collaborative.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills including data visualisation capability.
– Skilled at change and project management.
– Able to change and improve pay frameworks.
– Able to manage complexity and articulate risks, dependencies, and critical decision points.
