Senior Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Administrator for an approx. 12 week contract on a rate of £18.07/hour PAYE. This role will be based on site in Edinburgh with the potential for hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of a large and busy professional services providing a high-quality customer service to applicants, colleagues and customers. Support focusses on administration, customer support within the context of the organisation’s regulations, codes of practice and recognised practice-based requirements.
Essential Skills:
– HNC/HND or equivalent level qualifications plus a minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience or broad experience – minimum 5 years – acquired through a combination of job related training and considerable on-the-job experience, demonstrating development through involvement in progressively more demanding relevant work/roles
– Good organisational skills: ability to exercise judgement to work at times without direct supervision and prioritise own work
– Experience of working/responding independently and dealing with unforeseen problems and circumstances.
– Good administrative skills: ability to master quickly new systems and processes and to sustain a high performance whilst under pressure.
– Good IT literacy and experience: able to find, use, and share information
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– A strongly developed sense of customer service delivery
– Attention to accuracy and detail
Desirable Skills:
– Experience of similar environment
– Experience of working with customers in a similar setting
