Senior Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Administrator for an initial 4 month contract on a rate of £16.35/hour PAYE. This role will be hybrid working with at least 1 days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
– Service Information Manager for CED.
– Maintenance of the Corporate Records Retention and Disposal Schedule, Information Asset Register and Publication Scheme Guide to Information.
– Creation and maintenance of information management content on the website and Intranet.
– Records Management training material development.
– Advice and guidance to Services and ALEOs across IM topics.
– Service lead for EDRMS content and access management.
– Represent CED at the Information Asset Board.
– Attend EDRMS Operations Sub-Group of the Information Asset Board.
– Attend the Records Management Sub-Group of the Information Asset Board.
– Attend the Training & Communications Sub-Group of the Information Asset Board.
– Secretariat support to the Information Advisory Board and Information Asset Board.
– IM project delivery.
– Deputising for the Governance Manager as required.
Essential Skills:
– Managing projects.
– Leading teams.
– Representing the Service or Department.
– Clear and concise ability to explain matters using oral skills.
– Written communication skills encompassing plan creation, report writing, minutes, policies, procedures, briefings and directives.
– Competent in use of Office Applications including Teams, Sharepoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
– Competent in use of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems.
– Statistics collation and analysis.
– Excellent understanding of information management principles and practices.
– Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
– Resilient and determined.
– A flexible approach.
