Senior Associate (Net Zero)
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Associate (Net Zero) for an inital 3 month contract on a rate of up to £400/day (Inside IR35).
Responsibilities:
– Creating and interpreting financial and commercial valuation models to guide decisions for potential investments.
– Undertaking desktop research.
– Scoping and assessing independent due diligence on investment opportunities, drafting and contributing to investment committee papers.
– Providing consistent deal execution support for the end-to-end investment process.
– Balance multiple time-critical deals in a complex environment, working as part of a supportive and skilled team.
Essential Skills:
– Relevant work experience in a financial, commercial or industrial environment would be beneficial.
– Degree qualified in Business, Finance or related fields; professional qualification (CA, CFA or similar) will be highly regarded.
– Equally, practical experience gained in an M&A or transactional related banking, investment or corporate role would also be highly regarded for those without a degree.
– Enjoy working flexibly to client and transaction-driven deadlines in a diverse, solutions driven team environment.
