Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Stirling, is currently looking to recruit a System Analyst for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of £400/day (Inside IR35). This role will be remote based.
 
Responsibilities:
 
– Be part of an established agile delivery team working to deliver a new back-office database and associated reporting applications.
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Data Design and Modelling within an Oracle environment to support business requirements.
– Proficiency in taking business requirements and transforming these into a technical solution.
– Proficiency in documenting functional specifications. 
– Provide feedback on technical solutions and data models to business analysts and development teams.
– Proficient in PL/SQL and SQL.
– Proven experience in Oracle RDBMS database development. Design, develop and modify relational database objects including Tables, View, Packages, Triggers and Indexes.   
– Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., MS DevOps). 
– Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
– Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies. 
 
Desirable Skills:
 
– Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure. 
– Knowledge of MS DevOps.
