Travel and Subsistence Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Travel and Subsistence Expenses Administrator for a 12-month contract on a rate of £13.81/hour PAYE.
This role is working two days from the office with the remainder of the time working at home as part of hybrid working.
Candidates will need to have a Basic Disclosure Scotland Certificate dated within last 3 months or be willing to apply.
Responsibilities:
– You will handle expense claims for staff, Ministers and other eligible claimants for a variety of bodies.
– Answer queries and provide travel and subsistence advice, including providing rates for staff members travelling abroad on official business.
– Check claims selected by the system in accordance with the travel subsistence rules, and address any errors
-Data Input of claims as required.
-Administration and maintenance of the Travel and Subsistence Charge Card including use of Royal Bank of Scotland’s Smart Data On-Line (SDOL) facility.
-General administrative support in the section as required.
Essential Skills:
– Experience of accurate data entry.
– Numerate.
– Experience of answering customer queries by referring to policies or guidance to answer the question.
– Able to work well as part of a team.
