Travel Coordinator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Scotland, is currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant for a 6 month contract a rate of £13.07/hour PAYE.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, communicate and continuously improve processes and practices to support the central management of travel services. This should include health, safety and sustainability advice and guidance.
– Process requests for travel and accommodation through the Travel services contract, researching options and communicating confirmation of bookings with relevant advice.
– Collate and report on travel management information including sustainability performance.
– Regularly engage with staff and provide a central customer enquiry point for the unit.
– Support the management of the Travel Services contract, collate and relay feedback, attend meetings and arrange payment of invoices.
– Contribute to the completion of corporate Sustainability, Climate Change and Health and Safety reports, advice and guidance.
– Supporting the wider team by providing cover, for example, for Reception or Enquiries
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of working processes and practices of the wider team and organisation.
Essential Skills:
– Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload. Along with using your own initiative to balance competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate effectively
– Experience of working in a fast paced office environment, proficient in the use of Outlook, Word and Excel IT packages.
– Using problem solving skills you will regularly analyse information to produce reports and recommendations to improve systems, processes and performance.
