Volunteer Recruitment and Retention Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Volunteer Recruitment & Retention Assistant for an initial 2-month contract with the potential to extend at a rate of £16.31 PAYE. This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office, 7 hours per day, 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
– Frontline support to potential and actual volunteer applicants
– Data inputting and uploading of word applications onto the organisation’s digital system
– Monitoring, managing and responding to relevant mailboxes
– Act as point of contact and respond effectively to support Panel Member recruitment campaign queries, both internally and externally.
– Data inputting of word applications onto an online platform used within the organisation.
– Undertaking general administrative tasks associated with the overall campaign and related projects.
– Supporting the planning, organising and coordinating of local, regional or national events to promote and recruit new Panel Members.
– Administrative support for our volunteer retention programmes.
– Liaising, supporting and responding to our colleagues based regionally to prepare for the re-appointment of members of our Panel Community.
– In the spirit of positive teamwork, willingly lend support to colleagues and members of our People & Culture Team when possible in times of pressure and demand.
– Undertake other work as may be required, which is consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
