Waste Loader
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a Waste Loader on a rate of £13.12p/h. The working hours for this role will be 7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 2:30 Friday. Overtime may be required to complete daily duties.
Responsibilities:
– Loading behind Lorry
– Street scene management
– Collection of bulky items and fly tipping removal.
– Deliver/Uplift containers
– Basic record keeping or other administrative duties as required
– Any other work as directed by Supervisor/Foreperson.
Essential Skills:
– Awareness of Health & Safety within a working environment
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public
– Good level of fitness
– Full valid UK Driver’s License
– Able to manage simple forms and paperwork as required (manual handling certificate or the ability to attain qualification.)
Desirable Skills:
– Educational qualification or equivalent to a Scottish National 4 or better.
