Product Lead
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow/Dundee, is currently looking to recruit 3 x Product Leads for initial 6 month contracts – with the potential to extend – on a rate of up to £382/day (Inside IR35).
Responsibilities:
– Support and/or lead one of the project teams using appropriate project management methodologies to establish, plan and deliver a complex project
– Develop, manage and maintain comprehensive project documentation and implementation plans which drive and ensure successful change including project plans, RAID logs, project dashboards and progress reports
– Drive effective stakeholder relationships and engagement
– Deliver effective decision making through comprehensive and accurate evaluations and robust recommendations
– Manage and build capability in project and support team members providing guidance and support where required
– Work with colleagues to support the development and service of project governance structures within the agency ensuring alignment with delivery partner plans
– Draft accurate, timely reports tracking project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals
– Manage and build capability in project and support team members providing guidance and support where required
– Contribute to the development of all associated spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs, requirements and progress.
Essential Skills:
– Project Management qualification (s) such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile Project Management
– Proven track record in successful project delivery with the use of project management methodologies.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to build good professional relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
– Experience of setting priorities, roles and responsibilities for yourself and others, in a project setting.
– Ability to collate, organise and analyse information to support the planning and delivery of improvements.
