Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dalkeith, is currently looking to recruit an Administrator for an initial 2 month contract – start date will be 22nd April – on a rate of £13,52 per/hour PAYE. The working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm. This role will be based onsite in Dalkeith. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Run reports from bespoke systems.
  • Use Excel to check and update records.
  • Ensure QA procedures are followed.
  • Prepare materials for despatch.
  • Scan and photocopy materials for retention.
 
Essential Skills: 
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Be able to understand written and verbal communications. 
  • Good, general administrative skills. 
  • PC literate with proficient and accurate keyboard skills. 
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 
  • Flexible working approach and ability to work on own as well as part of a team. 
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines. 
  • Office based experience required.  
  • Competent IT skills specifically in (Excel & Word).  
  • Requires good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.  
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.  
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise and manage own workload in accordance to staff operating procedures.  
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of cases.
