Business Change Manager
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit 3 x Business Change Manager for 6 month contracts on a rate of £500-550/day (inside of IR35). These roles will be a hybrid of working in the office and remote.
Responsibilities:
– Develop a comprehensive customer facing understanding of changes, challenges, and goals related to the Oracle Cloud implementation.
– Identify key stakeholders and their roles in the change process (both programme and functions).
– Produce change products, artefacts, communication, and engagement collateral needed to facilitate delivery
– Provide tiered/ proportionate support and guidance to customers throughout the change process, including communication, engagement, and participation.
– Facilitate workshops, customer touchpoints and meetings to engage stakeholders, address concerns, and promote buy-in for the Oracle Cloud initiative.
– Define the overall change approach, framework for preparing the customers and functions to be ready for Oracle Cloud adoption.
– Implement the change management plan developed in Objective 1, ensuring alignment with the SSP goals and timelines.
– Develop approach, data flows, metrics and KPIs to assess business and people readiness for Oracle Cloud go-live.
– Monitor progress and performance throughout the change journey (at a programme, organisational and individual level), identifying areas of success and areas needing improvement.
– Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and insights to key stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.
Essential Skills:
– Communicating and engaging across multiple stakeholders to influence change agenda outcomes.
– Being comfortable operating and delivering tangible results on a complex and face-paced environment.
– Proactively shaping and leading change events which are customer centric.
– Contributing and collaborating with business change colleagues to deliver shared objectives.
– Designing and facilitating customer forums at an organisation level and a wide range of change journey events at an individual level.
– Measuring organisation level engagement and change readiness, and user adoption.
– Project management to PRINCE2, APM or equivalent level Change Management qualification
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
– Knowledge of public sector Scotland drivers, landscape, and challenges
– Cultural awareness and ability to adapt sensitively.
– Training and qualifications in a recognised change management methodology (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR, ITIL)
– Public sector service delivery and change management.
– CIPD and/or ACCA/CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent
– Experience of Oracle Fusion – ERP, HCM and EPM
