Housing Property Officer(Aberdeen)
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Aberdeen, is currently looking to recruit a Housing Property Officer for an initial 12 week contract on a rate of £13.27/hour PAYE.
Responsibilities:
– Invest in relationship with customers to prepare them for leasing singing to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities
– Lead customers throughout the Lease singings process, ensuring all paperwork is completed appropriately
– Completing Furniture Leasing Scheme
– Accurate updating of systems and partners following lease signing
– Work proactively to respond to queries from colleagues, customers, and other partners.
– In partnership with customers to complete forms and directing them to online/digital options.
– Maintain accurate records, raise orders and process payments through various systems
– Provide admin support for offices including ordering of stationary.
– Ensure payment of invoices where required for Utility companies
– Maintain accurate record of all requests around terminations.
– Arrange storage of belongings and check domestic furniture within accommodation and update inventory. Arrange re-use of goods as required.
– Update energy suppliers with readings throughout the termination and void period.
– Arrange for electrical and gas safety checks as required
– Work collaboratively alongside internal and external colleagues throughout the void process to minimise voids, including giving access to properties and key
– Maintain accurate records on systems and files throughout the void process.
– Maintain system and paper files in relation to electrical and gas safety and EPC.
– Maintain accurate system for all keys for properties.
– Issue / receive keys to/from tenants and others as required.
– Ensure stock of keys/fobs is held and arrange for ordering and collection of further keys as required
Essential Skills:
– Standard Grade or equivalent
– Proven ability to deliver public services to required standards
– Proven ability to work autonomously and using own initiative
– Proven ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively
– Proven ability of dealing with the public in difficult, confrontational and sensitive situations
– Proven ability to work to challenging deadlines
– Proven ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms with a wide range of audience.
– Proven ability of good record keeping
– Proven ability to use a range of computer packages. E.g. Microsoft office
