Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Falkirk, is currently looking to recruit 2x LGV Class C Driver. The hours for these roles be 40 hours. 37 hours will be paid at a basic rate £13.59 per hour PAYE and 3 hours will be paid at the 1.5 rate of £20.38 per hour PAYE. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

– Ensuring work is undertaken, carried out and completed according to instructions received.

– Ensuring that safe working practices are adopted in accordance with instructions given.

– Ensuring that refuse collection duties are completed to the satisfaction of the Waste services Officers.

– Ensuring all refuse vehicles and plant are operated in accordance with instructions and appropriate daily vehicle checks are carried out.

– To take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of the refuse collectors within your team.

– To ensure that the Service’s responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety are achieved by implementing, promoting and monitoring safe working practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and the Corporate and Service Health and Safety Policy.

 

Essential Skills: 

 

– A heavy goods driving licence either C+E or C+E1

– Current CPC and digital Tacho card at all times.
