HR Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a HR Administrator for an initial 8 week contract on a rate of £13.77/hour PAYE – working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.
– Prepare and distribute documents and materials as required.
– Maintain diaries ensuring that they are kept up to date in relation to appointments, priorities and deadlines.
– Maintain effective filing systems and databases, ensuring that all relevant papers and reports are produced or available as required.
– Deal with incoming and outgoing mail, telephone enquiries and email enquiries.
– Organise meetings and take minutes as appropriate.
– Deals with difficult issues in a sensitive way, and at all times maintain confidentiality.
– Implement appropriate arrangements to safeguard the needs of vulnerable users within service area and across the organisation.
– Operate at all times in line with the organisation’s values and behaviours.
– Undertake any other duties consistent with the key responsibilities and/or duties of the post.
Essential Skills:
– SVQ Level II/3 Higher grades or equivalent or recent and relevant experience
– Evidence of continuous professional development
– Excellent keyboard skills and knowledge of MS office: Word, Excel and databases
– Clerical/ Administrative Experience
– Good Communication and liaison skills
– Good Written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines to the satisfaction of all parties
Desirable Skills:
– An understanding of the Human Resources function
