People Services Administrator
Contract length: 20 week
Pay rate: £15.01/hour (PAYE)
Location: Glasgow
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a People Services Administrator for a 20 week contract on a rate of £15.01/hour (PAYE). The working hours for this role is 17.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
– Provide comprehensive administrative support, including general office duties to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
– Manage multiple shared mailboxes, organising and filing correspondence, responding to general enquiries, offering guidance within remit, and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
– Monitor the general People Services inbox, triage staff enquiries with a high level of customer services.
– Act as the first point of contact for the department, professionally welcoming visitors and directing them to the appropriate service or colleague.
– Oversee the incident and accident reporting process, including maintaining accurate database records, filing documentation, and liaising with the Health and Safety Advisor for escalation when required.
– Support the Health and Safety workstation assessment and Cardinus Reporting Processes. Including running regular reports, liaising with staff members and the Health & Safety Advisor and updating and maintaining trackers accordingly.
– Coordinate Health and Safety and Organisational Development training programmes, monitoring attendance and ensuring all participant records are accurately maintained within the HR system.
– Support the compilation and coordination of committee papers for the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Committee.
– Any ad hoc duties as required.
