Internal Recruitment Adviser
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Swindon, is currently looking to recruit an Internal Recruitment Adviser for an initial up to 3 months contract on a rate of £19.46/hour PAYE.
Responsibilities
– Building consultative partnerships with managers to deliver effective recruitment solutions that drive greater diversity and inclusion.
– Creating recruitment marketing campaigns and content that engages key candidate audiences.
– Advising and supporting managers to ensure all candidates enjoy their experience.
– Supporting managers and working with external providers and colleagues to develop relevant assessments to inform selection decisions.
– Supporting and advising hiring managers on internal recruitment processes.
– Gathering data and using this to provide analysis and reporting to help identify continuous improvements, including through our Applicant Tracking System and candidate surveys.
– Creating and maintaining inspiring content for our internet pages.
– Working with managers to agree their recruitment requirements, including discussing advertising, assessment, selection and onboarding.
– Researching the latest market conditions and candidate networks to inform our strategies.
– Working with colleagues to understand internal succession planning and talent management plans.
– Writing new recruitment adverts from scratch, as well as amending our current templates and adverts to meet fresh requirements, ensuring that the tone of voice and messages align with our brand.
– Creating and managing social media content as required, working in partnership with colleagues in our communications team.
– Delivering recruitment training to internal audiences, which may include one-to-one coaching as well as group training and developing content such as e-learning for our learning management system.
– Proactively seeking out opportunities to share knowledge and develop colleagues’ skills, knowledge and experience.
– Participating in reviews of our processes to ensure they remain fit for purpose and to continually improve service delivery standards across the team.
– Contributing to the overall development and promotion of the HR function by being an active member of the wider HR team, supporting colleagues and taking up opportunities to work on the development of HR processes, policies and procedures, and other HR projects as required.
Essential Skills:
– Previous experience of working within a busy Recruitment function at adviser level.
– Recent responsibility for experienced hire recruitment from sourcing to onboarding.
– Experience of working with social media either creating content and/or analysing data
– Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across the organisation and be a trusted adviser for recruitment activity.
– Strong writing skills with attention to detail, ideally with experience of proof reading
– Ability to coordinate and manage various deadlines and conflicting requirements.
– Understanding of the recruitment lifecycle: advertising, assessment, selection and on boarding
– Be curious, demonstrate a desire to understand the organisation and how this role will positively.
– Impact the corporate objectives.
– Strong networking and influencing skills.
– Understand and utilise current trends in the recruitment market.
– Competent using IT including Microsoft and HR systems
