Strategic HR Advisor
 Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Strategic HR Advisor for a 6 month contract (with possible extension) on a rate of up to £750/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid based.
 
Responsibilities
 
– To provide senior-level strategic HR advisory and programme leadership to design and deliver a coordinated people transformation and change agenda.
– Act as programme lead across key strategic People & Culture projects.
– Support leaders through complex change, ensuring clarity, engagement, and minimal disruption
– Develop and embed change frameworks, tools, and governance
– Establish delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies, and risk and issues management frameworks
– Provide clear, concise reporting to Executive and Board level
– Ensure integration across HR and wider business initiatives
 
Essential Skills:
 
– Proven experience in strategic HR Change & Transformation within complex organisations
– Demonstrable track record and expertise in organisational design and change management
– Ability to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to improve operating model effectiveness, structure and organisational performance
– Demonstrable programme management capability (multi-workstream delivery)
– Ability to operate effectively at Executive / Board level and produce high quality outputs for senior audiences
– Experience in public sector or regulated environments, with an understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED)
