Admin Service Assistant
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Greenock, is currently looking to recruit a Services Assistant for a 6 month contract on a rate of £15.75/hour (PAYE).
Must have a level 2 Disclosure Scotland or be prepared to apply for one.
Responsibilities
– Accurately collate and input wages, purchases, telephone, and transactions on established computerised systems.
– Accurately collate, pick, pack and distribute items ordered, ensuring orders are accurately processed and sufficient funds are available. The post holder will be required to undertake manual handling duties on a daily basis, in a warehouse type vicinity.
– Contribute towards maintaining an effective stock management system and carry out weekly reconciliation of stock to ensure that stock systems balance.
– Order and collect sundry purchases from local businesses and order from online suppliers, ensuring all orders are accurately processed and distributed and there are sufficient funds available in personal accounts.
– Receive & check delivery of goods, physically transfer goods to the stock area and input data in stock management software. Manual handling will be required.
– As part of a multi-functional team you will be required to provide ad hoc assistance to other administration team members as directed by your line manager, commensurate with role and level within the organisation.
Desirable Skills:
– Knowledge and experience of stock control and delivery.
– Competent in the use of Microsoft 365
