Registry Administrator
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Registry Administrator for an initial 6 week contract on a rate of £15.01/hour PAYE – working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
– Be the first point of contact and proactively administer the organisation’s room booking service, resolving queries and issues as necessary.
– Respond to enquiries about timetables and escalating these where required
– Administer the production and distribution of transcripts, undertaking appropriate checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation and records
– Support registration and enrolment activities, ensuring records are complete and compliant with requirements
– Respond to enquiries about records and escalating these where required
– Provide advice and administrative support for module selection and related record activities, liaising with colleagues to resolve queries and ensure accurate record maintenance
– To ensure that all work carried out within area of responsibility meets the requirements and needs of the organisation’s Information Security policies & practices.
– Ensure that all work carried out within area of responsibility are undertaken in line with the organisation’s Values & Behaviours and Registry’s Commitments.
– To work with colleagues from all areas of the organisation to assist in delivering an excellent experience.
– Any other tasks appropriate to the post and in line with business needs.
Essential Skills:
– HNC level or equivalent relevant experience
– Intermediate working knowledge in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
– Experience in working with Student Information Management and Timetabling systems
– Articulate, with attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
– A good understanding of data analysis relevant to this position
– Experience of preparation of data reports
– The ability to carry out a number of tasks concurrently and to work to tight competing deadlines
– Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
– Good team player
– Excellent organisational skills and flexible approach to workload
– The ability to exercise initiative and show a high degree of responsibility
– Reflective practitioner, always looking for opportunities to improve processes and their own and colleagues’ practice.
