Visitor Attraction Support
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit a Visitor Attraction Support for a contract up until 31/10/26 on a rate of £15.80/hour (PAYE). The hours for this role are are 25.9 hours per week, made up of a 3-days-on, 3-days-off rota that includes weekend working.
You need to have a Disclosure Scotland for this role or be prepared to apply for one.
Responsibilities
– Help and supporting visitors with mobility issues.
– Provide a world class welcome and direct visitors as appropriate upon their arrival and during their visit.
– Assist other teams, as and when required, moving stock, deliveries or other items from one location to another.
– Working in all weathers in a fast-paced environment amongst a high volume of visitors.
Essential Skills:
– Excellent customer service skills
– A passion for the historic environment and sharing this with visitors
– Experience supporting a team to achieve results
– Experience of working in a fast-paced, busy environment
– Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills:
– Experience of working in busy environments
– A working knowledge of visitor attractions
