Waste Loader Op – Brora
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Bora, is currently looking to recruit a Community Works Operative – Waste for a contract until 2nd October 2026 on a rate of £14.12/hour (PAYE). The working pattern for this role is 6.30am – 2.00pm – Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
– Loading behind Refuse/Recycling Lorry
– Street scene management
– Working at a Household Recycling Centre/Transfer Station or Landfill
– Collection of bulky items and fly tipping removal.
– Deliver/Uplift Recycling/Refuse containers
– Basic record keeping or other administrative duties as required
– Uplift of animal carcasses
– Any other work as directed by Supervisor/Foreperson.
Essential Skills:
– Awareness of Health & Safety within a working environment
– Ability to work as part of a team
– Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and the public
– Good level of fitness
– Able to manage simple forms and paperwork as require
Desirable Skills:
– Full valid UK Driver’s License if possible
– Educational qualification or equivalent to a Scottish National 4 or better.
